Overview

Nomad is one of the newer entrants in the eSIM market and has carved out a reputation for being the value-focused alternative to Airalo. The app is arguably the cleanest in the category.

Plans and pricing

Nomad’s country plans typically undercut Airalo by 10-20% for equivalent data and duration. Regional plans are competitive but not always the cheapest — compare against Airalo’s regional bundles for multi-country trips.

Network performance

We’ve tested Nomad in the UK, Spain, Singapore, and Thailand. Speeds match the local partner carrier, which in most cases is the same network as Airalo and Holafly resell.

Who it’s best for

Pick Nomad when you know which country (or two) you’re going to and want to pay the lowest sensible price.

Verdict

Nomad is the value pick. If you'd otherwise default to Airalo, check Nomad's price for the same country first — you'll often save 10-20%. The smaller catalog is the only meaningful drawback.
